NXT has announced a network special event and championship match to headline.
On the October 5 episode of NXT, Tommaso Ciampa came to the ring and revealed that on Tuesday, October 26, Halloween Havoc would be making its return to NXT. The iconic WCW PPV was resurrected last year by NXT brand and is back for the second consecutive year.
Ciampa then said that he needed to find a challenger for his NXT Championship and asked who in the back has the balls to try and take the belt from him. This brought out Bron Breakker. The young star, who teamed with Ciampa last week, said that he has the biggest balls in the locker room. He added that he has been nothing but respectful to the champion before challenging him to a match at Halloween Havoc.
Tommaso said that the title is merely a stepping stone for Bron, but that it means everything to him. He proceeded to accept the challenge and told Bron that he has 3 weeks to go from an intern to a PhD.
