Carmelo Hayes is headed to the finals.
On Tuesday's NXT, Carmelo Hayes knocked off Duke Hudson to advance to the finals of the NXT Breakout Tournament. The finish saw Hayes hit a top rope leg drop to the back of a bent over Hudson. After the bout, Hayes said, 'Just like video games, in the end, you have to face the final boss. Plot twist, I'm the final boss."
With this victory, Hayes will face Odyssey Jones in the finals of the NXT Breakout Tournament.
Hayes was confronted by Jones on the stage after the match. The finals will place on the August 24 episode of NXT.
