NXT announced that NXT Great American Bash will be a two-week affair with the events taking place on July 30th and August 6th.
Both nights will air on SyFy due to the 2024 Olympics airing on USA Network.

The original Great American Bash, coined by Dusty Rhodes, took place under the NWA banner in 1985. It became an annual event through the NWA transitioning to WCW until 2000.
WWE brought the event name back in 2004 for five years.
NXT has used the event name since 2020. NXT Great American Bash 2023 was a PLE and not a TV special.
