A title match has been set for next week's episode of NXT 2.0.
The November 16 episode of NXT 2.0 began with Tony D'Angelo picking up a win over Dexter Lumis. After the match, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams attacked Lumis, specifically targeting his hand. Johnny Gargano came out to make the save for his "son-in-law."
After a break, Gargano called out Hayes but was interrupted by Pete Dunne, who Gargano and Lumis helped beat the North American Champion last week. They argued about who should get a crack at Carmelo first but were then offered, by Carmelo, the opportunity to face him at the same time. Much to Trick Williams' confusion, Hayes also offered to put his title on the line in this triple threat match.
As a result, Carmelo is set to defend the North American Championship next week, November 23, against Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne.
The full card can be seen below and will be updated if anything else is announced.
