Leon Ruff will get his rematch.
Following his victory over Timothy Thatcher on Wednesday's NXT, Leon Ruff was given the gift of an NXT North American Title rematch against Johnny Gargano on the December 30 episode of NXT.
Ruff scored the upset victory over Gargano on the November 11 episode of NXT, winning the NXT North American Title and keeping alive The Gargano Curse of Johnny being unable to successfully defend his championship.
Gargano won the title at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in a triple threat match that also featured Damian Priest. He has yet to defend the NXT North American Title since re-capturing it at TakeOver.
