Women's Number One Contenders Triple Threat Tag-Team Match
Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez vs. Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart vs. Io Shirai & Zoey Stark
Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, and Ember Moon begin the match. Moon and Shirai both go after Gonzalez right away, Raquel holds both women off rather easily. Shotzi tags herself in and attempts to pin Raquel Gonzalez; however, Dakota Kai breaks up the pin. Io Shirai does a moonsault and takes down Kai, Gonzalez, and her partner Stark. Shotzi dives and takes out everyone on the outside.
Ember Moon now goes over to the top of the turnbuckle, and she now dives down and knocks everyone down. Zoey Stark also dives through and takes everyone out, and it is pure pandemonium. Then, they head to their first picture-in-picture commercial break. During the break, Raquel Gonzalez is in control and has Io Shirai in a headlock.
Shotzi now gets in and takes out Gonzalez, and she now goes after Io; Gonzalez is back up and gives Shirai the big boot and then slams Shotzi down hard. Zoey Stark gets the hot tag, and she takes everyone out. Ember Moon and Dakota Kai are now tagged in by their partners; however, Stark has no problem with Kai and Stark and is still in control. Next, stark tags in Shirai; Shirai hits Kai with a shotgun dropkick. Shotzi is now in, and she hits Shirai with a reverse sling blade.
Moon and Shotzi are in sync, and both double-team Shirai. Shotzi hits a German suplex and pin combination; however, Kai kicks out. Everyone in the match except for Gonzalez is in one corner. Gonzalez takes everyone out. Kai hits Shotzi with a double stomp; however, Shotzi hits Kai right away with a big dropkick. Shirai goes for the Moon over Moonsault, Gonzalez protects Kai and takes the brunt of the attack.
Now, Zoey, Ember, and Dakota all take each other out with a variety of moves. This allows Io Shirai to hit Kai with the Moonsault and then pins Dakota Kai to victory. Io Shirai and Zoey Stark are the new number one contenders and will challenge The Way's Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell at NXT Great American Bash.
Winners: Io Shirai & Zoey Stark
- They go to a backstage segment and show Karrion Kross and Scarlett arriving at the CWC; Johnny Gargano attacks Kross right away; however, security breaks it up, and they head out for a commercial break.
- Vic Joseph says that Beth Phoenix is out this week, and then he announces that the NXT Breakout Tournament is coming back and will begin in two weeks.
- We go to another backstage segment with Bronson Reed, but he is interrupted right away, and Isaiah Scott challenges him to a title match for tonight.
- Karrion Kross and Scarlett head to the ring and calls out Johnny Gargano, and Gargano comes out and begins insulting Kross. This allows Austin Theory to attack Kross; both Gargano and Kross begin beating Kross; it does not last long, though, as Kross makes a comeback and starts taking both men out. Kross picks up the steel steps, slamming it down on top of Gargano; however, security stops him. Gargano gets in a superkick in on Kross as security holds Kross back. Samoa Joe comes down as Gargano and Theory retreat. Kross gets in the face of Samoa Joe and says, "you're doing a really good job, Joe."
- We get a promo for a battery needing to be charged, the same that has been shown past few weeks.
Roderick Strong (w/ Malcolm Bivens, Tyler Rust, Hideki Suzuki) vs. Asher Hale
The match begins with Asher Hale and Roderick Strong sizing each other up; however, Strong takes down Hale quickly. Hale goes for the ankle lock, but Strong does not let him lock it in. Instead, Strong brings Hale to the corner and slams him down on top of the turnbuckle. Strong then hits Hale with a massive backbreaker. Strong is being very aggressive; he hits Hale with a few heavy chops.
Strong hooks the arms of Hale and then slams him down. Strong hits Hale with a backward rolling elbow and a jumping knee; Strong puts Hale in a submission hold, and Hale taps out. After the match, Malcolm Bivens says that "Diamond Mine is open for business."
Winner: Roderick Strong (w/ Malcolm Bivens, Tyler Rust, Hideki Suzuki)
Cameron Grimes vs. Ari Sterling
Cameron Grimes and Ari Sterling begin with a tie-up; however, Grimes gets the first few strikes on Sterling. Grimes hits Sterling with a hurricanrana, and he rolls to the outside. Grimes goes after him; however, Sterling gets away from him and hits Grimes with a springboard moonsault. Grimes is back in the ring, and Sterling is in control of the match. Sterling goes for another moonsault splash but moves out of the way, and he counters it with the Cave In and gets the win. LA Knight comes out and tells Moon what he thinks about him, and Grimes challenges him for a match at Great American Bash. If Grimes loses, he will have to become LA Knight's Butler. If Grimes wins, he will become the Million Dollar Champion.
Winner: Cameron Grimes
- We get a backstage promo of The Way confronting Io Shirai and Zoey Stark.
- Kyle O'Reilly is in the ring and tells Adam Cole to get out there. Cole obliges but is interrupted right away by Samoa Joe, and he gets in the ring and tells both men to carry on. Cole tells O'Reilly he is obsessed with him and that he has been carrying O'Reilly since the Undisputed Era began, and everyone knows it; he says that "whether Samoa Joe wants to admit it or not Samoa Joe knows it and hell even your wife knows it." Cole goes to take a swing but O'Reilly ducks and takes down Cole and puts him in a submission lock. Cole is begging Samoa Joe to get Kyle off of him, but Joe leaves the ring. Joe then nods to security to break it up.
Boa and Xia Li vs. Jake Atlas and Mercedes Martinez
The match begins right away, with all four competitors going after each other. The referee gets control real quick with Jake Atlas, and Boa starts the match; both men exchange multiple strikes before Atlas tags out. Xia Li and Mercedes Martinez are in, and Xi takes out Mercedes with a kick to the chest right away. Xia Li runs toward Mercedes; however, Mercedes delivers a big backdrop to Li, who then rolls out of the ring to the floor.
We are back from the commercial break with Boa and Atlas in the ring; Atlas takes Boa to the outside. Mercedes and Xia Li are exchanging multiple strikes; Martinez hits Xia Li with a double hook suplex. Boa breaks up the pin; Boa takes a swing at Mercedes, but she ducks and Atlas lands a big right in Boa. Mercedes Martinez takes her eyes off of Xia Li, and she attacks Mercedes. The action goes back into the ring and ends almost immediately as Xia Li legitimately takes out Mercedes Martinez with a roundhouse kick. Li goes for the pin, the referee begins the count and realizes something is wrong. The referee checks out Mercedes and then throws up the "X" for trainers. The ref calls for the bell, and the match is over-due to referee stoppage.
No Winner Declared, Referee Stoppage
- Tomasso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher head out to the ring for their face-off against MSK. All four men bring out chairs. Each man unfolds the seat and sits in their chair. Ciampa starts and says that the difference between them is that Thatcher and Ciampa will make it look good. Ciampa says that next week will win and that MSK is going into the match as underdogs.
Ciampa says Thatcher is ready because he's never won gold in NXT and Ciampa says nobody elevates titles as Ciampa does. MSK says they are tired of not getting respect and respecting what Ciampa and Thatcher have done. Nash Carter says that "Thatcher and Ciampa did not hear them" Carter then slaps Ciampa, Ciampa says "that this was a free one and next week they will be taking those titles."
- They come back from a commercial break with Kross and Scarlett going to their vehicle to leave the CWC but get attacked by Austin Theory and Johnny Gargano; Karrion Kross gets up after getting his door slammed on him multiple times and took out Gargano with a sleeper hold and then takes out Theory with a heavy right punch.
NXT North American Championship
Isaiah "Swerve" Scott (w/ Hit Row) vs. Bronson Reed (C)
All four members of Hit Row are in the ring as Bronson Reed makes his way to the ring. The match begins with a tie-up; Reed pushes Isaiah "Swerve" Scott right down. Scott is back up and slaps Reed in the back of the head. Reed is toying around with Scott, puts him in a headlock, and will not let go of it. Scott finally gets out of it; however, Reed hits Scott with a big shoulder tackle.
Scott goes up to Reed, and Reed hits him with the military press. Reed is in complete control; Reed throws Scott hard into the corner. Reed uses the ropes to squash Scott. Scott is getting into the match by getting some kicks in on Reed's leg.
Scott goes to try and slam Reed; however, Reed falls on the chest of Isaiah Scott. They then head out for their last picture-in-picture commercial break, with Scott now gaining control. Scott kicks Reed in the face and then hits Reed with a dropkick. Scott hits Reed with a German suplex; Reed recovers, and he tosses Scott a few feet away from him. Scott then hits Reed with a flat liner; Scott comes back with a dropkick. Reed hits Scott with a big clothesline, but Scott is up right away and hits Reed with a dropkick.
Reed is now delivering multiple shots in on Scott; the referee is distracted by all three members of Hit Row. Top Dolla runs at Reed but misses and goes through the clear shield at the barricade. Reed then grabs Ashante "Thee" Adonis and throws him over the barricade also. Scott capitalizes and hits Reed with a dropkick as Reed attempts to enter the ring. Scott then goes to the top turnbuckle and then lands the 450 splash; Scott goes for the pin, and Scott gets the 1-2-3 and becomes the new NXT North American Champion.
