The NXT and TNA relationship continued on February 6.
NXT Superstar Tyson Dupont competed in a rare singles bout on television as he faced former TNA X-Division Champion Ace Austin on the February 6 TNA iMPACT! While he put up a good fight, Ace Austin ended up getting the victory with The Fold.
After the match, Tyson Dupont, Wes Lee, and Tyriek Igwe tried to jump Ace Austin. However, The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) made the save.
