Four NXT stars were in action ahead of WWE SmackDown.
WWE held two dark matches before SmackDown on February 4 with former NXT Women's Champions Io Shirai and Raquel Gonzalez facing off in singles competition and Pete Dunne facing Tommaso Ciampa in one-on-one action.
Gonzalez and Ciampa scored victories in their respective bouts.
Dunne and Ciampa have worked dark matches and Main Event tapings in recent weeks. Shirai was part of a dark match last Friday. This marked Gonzalez' first dark match since October.

All four superstars remain active on NXT television and have wrestled within the past month on the program.
