The card for the January 16 episode of WWE NXT will have a huge role in the build to NXT Vengeance Day.
On January 16, there will be a 20-woman Battle Royal. However, only 16 women will go over the top rope. The remaining four women will then go on to face each other in a Fatal 4-Way. The winner of that contest will then go on to challenge Lyra Valkyria on February 4.
Speaking of Lyra Valkyria, she will be in tag team action on January 16 when she teams up with Tatum Paxley to go against the team of Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez.
In Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic action, Edris Enofe and Malik Blade will face Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Plus, Joaquin Wild and Cruz Del Toro of the Latino World Order will face Riley Osbourne and Duke Hudson from Chase University.
