On the August 12 edition of WWE Raw, the Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) faced off against Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa) in a Tornado Tag Team match.

While making his entrance for the match, Otis came face-to-face with the NXT North American Champion Oba Femi. Femi appeared in the crowd to promote his open challenge title defense that will take place on the August 13 edition of WWE NXT.

This will be Femi's ninth defense of the NXT North American Championship since winning the belt back in January 2024.

Fightful will update fans when Femi's opponent is revealed on the August 13 edition of WWE NXT.
