Thea Hail may not have won her match on the March 12 episode of WWE NXT but she may have won something even better, the return of her confidence.
Hail was looking for a tag team partner to team with against the tandem of Kiana James and Izzy Dame. At first, Andre Chase and Duke Hudson were trying to politely suggest that Hail did not have any other friends outside of Jacy Jayne, who was busy hanging out with Jazmin Nyx. However, Hail found a friend in Kelani Jordan and when Jordan was taken out prior to the match, she found another friend in Fallon Henley.
Ultimately, Hail and Henley came up short and while Jayne and Nyx were prepared to again suggest that Hail was a loser for hanging around Henley, Hail got on the microphone and stood up for herself.
Hail said she no longer cared about being friends with the coolest girl and even though she's hurt that she thought she had a sister in Jayne, it's okay because she no longer wants to be around toxicity and proudly declared, "The old Thea Hail is back, bitch!"
Hail then ran around the ring in circles and posed with Henley as Jayne and Nyx watched on.
Hail found victory in defeat.
