Orange Cassidy is the number one contender for the AEW International Championship.
The February 19 edition of AEW Dynamite was headlined by the first match in the International Championship Series, as Orange Cassidy took on Roderick Strong in a singles bout.
The end of match was high-spirited, with Cassidy countering one of Strong's moves and surprising him with a Stundog Millionaire. Then, Cassidy clocked Strong with an Orange Punch, allowing him to score the victory via pinfall.

As a result, Cassidy will now challenge Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship on the February 26 edition of AEW Dynamite. The winner of that match will go on to face Kenny Omega at AEW Revolution.
