Orange Cassidy: My One Goal With AEW International Title Reign Is To Defeat Jon Moxley

On the November 1 edition of AEW Control Center shared the extended cut of the press conference with Orange Cassidy, Claudio Castagnoli, and Tony Khan. Cassidy was asked about why he was wearing a suit.

“Look at that guy over there. He’s clearly bigger than me. He’s clearly stronger than me, and he’s a better professional wrestler than me. There’s one thing I have that he doesn’t, and that is, I do what I want when I want. I’m unpredictable or whatever you want to call it. If I want to wear a suit, I’ll wear a suit. Plus, I just want to show everybody how good I look in a suit. Better than him," Cassisy said.

Cassidy was then asked whether he sees himself duplicating his first title run, when he defended the title numerous times. He stated that he has one goal, and that's beating Jon Moxley. However, Cassidy noted that he'll have to take care of business against Castagnoli first.

"No. I have only one goal, and that is to wrestle and beat Jon Moxley. Unfortunately, Claudio did pin me in the middle of the ring, and they already made a match graphic, so I guess I’ll just have to do it," Cassidy said.

Moxley previously defeated Cassidy to win the title at AEW All Out. Rey Fenix beat Moxley to win the gold at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Cassidy then dethroned Fenix on the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Cassidy previously said he feels like he has something to prove as the AEW International Champion. Check out his comments here.
