Our Lady Peace performed in Calgary on February 19 as part of their 30th Anniversary Tour and for the first time in 22 years, they played "Whatever."
The song was used as Chris Benoit's theme in WWE. Benoit killed his wife Nancy and son Daniel before committing suicide in June 2007.
According to a spectator, Our Lady Peace acknowledged the "troubled past" but were looking to reclaim the song.

The band acknowledged before they played it the song has a troubled past, and that they were looking to reclaim it and not let what happened have power over them. I thought that was a good way to look at it

They also played Made of Steel for the first time since 2002
