Paul Heyman 'Spoils' Crown Jewel, Josh Alexander Talks Christian Cage, Raw Preview | Fight Size

Here's your fight size update for Monday, October 18, 2021:

Fourth Competitor Added To Title Match At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19

- Paul Heyman promises to walk out of WWE Crown Jewel alongside the WWE Universal Champion, never specifying whom, of course.

EXCLUSIVE! SPOILER FOR @WWE #CROWNJEWEL!

@romanreigns vs BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR ... This Thursday - LIVE on @peacocktv and @wwenetwork

I hate to spoil the ending of what is the biggest box office match of 2021, but ...

Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is @paulheyman, and I will be walking down the aisle at #CrownJewel with the reigning defending undisputed #WWE #UniversalHeavyweightChampion ... and I assure you, I will be leaving #CrownJewel with the #WWE #UniversalHeavyweightChampion!

- Josh Alexander spoke with Sports Illustrated about being inspired by Christian Cage.

“I have a great amount of respect for Christian, and I see some parallels between our careers,” Alexander says. “When he came to Impact Wrestling in 2005, he bet on himself. He had a sure opportunity to make a living doing what he was doing, but he gave it up to come to Impact Wrestling to show that he could be a main-eventer and show that he could be a world champion. I want to bet on myself and show that I can be a world champion, and I want to start by doing that against a legend like Christian.”

- On the most recent episode of Talk N Shop, the Good Brothers said they will be doing more Vlogs and other content now that their YouTube channel has been verified

- Here is an updated wXw Germany schedule:

For the first time in two years wXw from Germany will go back on tour.
After resuming live events with audiences in their home region of
North-Rhine Westphalia in August and September October 21st to 24th
will bring them to Eastern Germany.

Tour dates:
10/21 Limbach-Oberfrohna: We Love Wrestling 22
10/22 Gotha: We Love Wrestling 23
10/23 Dresden: True Colors 2021
10/24 Leipzig: We Love Wrestling 24

The Leipzig event has been sold out for weeks. For True Colors in
Dresden all seats have been sold out with very few standing room
tickets being left as of late.

Axel Axeman Tischer (Alexander Wolfe) will challenge for the wXw
Unified World Wrestling Championship in his home town of Dresden. Axel
has been undefeated since returning to wXw and has recently won the
2021 Catch Grand Prix defeating Akira Francesco, Dennis Cash Dullnig,
Tristan Archer, Fast Time Moodo and Bobby Gunns on the way.
Current title holder is Marius Al-Ani who is 30-0 in wXw competition
since March 2020. This will be a banger in terms of quality and
atmosphere.
Al Ani's title defense versus Cara Noir at Catch Grand Prix has
received a ton of praise and possibly is the premier wrestling match
out of Europe in 2021. Tischer's semi finals versus Fast Time Moodo
did stand out as well. These events are available via wXw's wXwNOW
subscription service and have not been added to the WWE Network yet.

The wXw women's championship has been vacated since former champion
Amale is not available anymore due to NXT UK commitments. Over the
course of the Eastern Germany tour there is a best of three series
between Iva Kolasky and Stephanie Maze to determine to new champion.
Iva is a former gymnast from Hungary and is undefeated in wXw
competition. Maze had to step down as a former wXw World Tag Team
champion in fall of 2020 after suffering a major knee injury. She has
returned to competition in an impressive 2/3 falls match against Fast
Time Moodo at the end of September.

The wXw Shotgun championship will be defended on every night. Current
champion is 6'4' monster Vincent Heisenberg from Hamburg who lost a
mask versus hair match in spring and has since gone the psychopathic
heel route. The Shotgun title contenders are determined via a lottery
live in the ring every single night which should make for some fun
surprises.

wXw World Tag Team champions Arrows of Hungary have been announced for
a non title match versus Bobby Gunns and Norman Harras on the first
night. No title match has been confirmed - then no match for the
Arrows has been confirmed for Friday to Sunday, so something is bound
to happen.

All those events will be uploaded to wXwNOW starting with WLW 22 on
Oct 28th. True Colors drops Oct 31st. English commentary for all
events is provided by Dave Bradshaw. Subtitles are available for all
segments/promos which are not in English.

wXwNOW is available for 9,99 EUR per month via wXwNOW.com and includes
access to over 1,800 hours of wXw content from the last two decades.
On top of that other European promotions like Bodyzoi (Belgium),
Bodyslam (Denmark), Wrestlingkult (Germany) and Passion Pro (Hungary)
are streaming their events via wXwNOW.

On Oct 29th Bodyzoi's recent event featuring Speedball Mike Bailey and
Francesco Akira drops on wXwNOW as well.

- A GoFundMe has been set up for Gia Miller and Ace Austin following a house fire.

At approximately 9:30 am on the morning of October 18, I (Georgia Lee, or some of you know me as Gia) was awoken by the distinct smell of smoke and a terrifying realization: our second-story apartment was on fire. Not only that, the fire had originated on the front porch, nearly trapping us inside. We went running through the flames, where we were met with a community of people rushing to our sides to get us to safety. Mere seconds from being trapped, Austin (Ace) and I escaped our home that was now engulfed in flames and smoke. All of our belongings, including our sweet cat Selina that had hidden out of fear, were trapped inside.

By some miracle, our baby girl was found alive and well buried under our ceiling and roof that had collapsed on top of her, shielding her from the flames and smoke. We are physically okay. Our little family is reunited. As for our home, it is gone. Something we worked so hard to build over the last year and a half, gone in minutes. We do not know what was able to be saved if anything.

Now, we have to rebuild. Like a phoenix, from these ashes we will rise. Any help, even the smallest amount, is appreciated.

Opera Cup Finals to take place Nov 6 in Philly
Witness history in the making live at the 2300 Arena

Tickets Available NOW at MLWLive.com.
Major League Wrestling (MLW) today announced that the 2021 Opera Cup Finals will take place Saturday November 6 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, featuring an MLW Fusion TV taping.

The oldest professional wrestling tournament in history will add a new chapter to its legacy as the 2021 edition of the "classic" comes to a conclusion on November 6th.

With the opening round underway, it remains to be seen who will outwrestle all others en route to entering the finals in Philadelphia. This past week, Davey Richards ousted the 2020 cup winner Tom Lawlor to advance to the semi-finals. This week, Matt Cross and Calvin Tankman will compete with only one man advancing. Others still in the mix include: TJP, Lee Moriarty, Alex Shelley and Bobby Fish.

Held annually for nearly 50 years at various turn-of-the-century opera house locations from New York City to Boston, the Professional Wrestling Opera House Cup was a grueling multi-day tournament.

The best of the day competed in the tournament and would often be an entree to more success, including the World Heavyweight Championship of the day.

After a 71-year hiatus, the Opera Cup returned in 2019. Soon thereafter, the league confirmed the “classic” would be an annual tournament hosted exclusively by MLW.

Major League Wrestling returns to Philadelphia's 2300 Arena on Saturday, November 6. Buy tickets at MLWLive.com.
