A championship bout on the first episode!
NXT's United Kingdom brand is starting off hot. Since the summer of 2018 the crew has been holding television tapings twice a month at various locations in England. Tapings have been held in Birmingham, Cambridge and most recently Plymouth. The stars of NXT's U.K. brand are about to take center stage because on Wednesday live on the WWE Network, the premiere episode of NXT U.K. will air at 8 PM British time which is 3 PM EST.
One match is already set for that premiere episode and it will be for one of the top prizes on the brand and that is the WWE United Kingdom Championship which is currently being held by the reigning champion Pete Dunne. At the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament this past June, Noam Dar emerged victorious in a Fatal 4-Way match to earn a future shot at the WWE U.K. Title and Noam's attempt to capture the U.K. brand's top prize will be broadcast on Wednesday as he attempts to dethrone "The Bruiserweight".
