After teaming together two weeks previously in what would be Tyler Bate's main roster debut, Bate & Dunne had a vignette where Bate challenged his tag team partner and former rival to look deep inside himself and ask when he leaves a legacy behind and made a name for himself, what he wanted that name to be.
Now, it appears Pete Dunne has found his name.Pete Dunne was first introduced as much on the March 11, 2022, episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown. He was introduced to as a friend of Sheamus and Ridge Holland. Together, that trio formed The Brawling Brutes.
It was first reported by Fightful Select that WWE sources told Fightful's Corey Brennan, “It’s exactly what it looks like” in regards to the vignette that aired on January 12.
