Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne are ready to challenge The Judgment Day for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships.
On the Ferbuary 2nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate secured a victory in a fatal four way tag team bout. Now, they will move on to face the winners of a fatal four way tag team bout set for the February 5th edition of Monday Night RAW on next week's SmackDown. The winners of that match, will advance to Elimination Chamber where they will challenge The Judgment Day for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships.
On The SmackDown LowDown this week, Bate and Dunne were interviewed by Byron Saxton, who noted that the team were now one win away from a challenge at the championships.
Tyler Bate: "That feels so good to hear, Byron, my goodness. On SmackDown, all the way from Birmingham, England to Birmingham, Alabama, the bruiserweight Pete Dunne. The big strong boy, Tyler Bate. Tonight, we move one step closer, just like you said, to becoming the new tag team champions. Can you believe it? Can you believe it?"
Pete Dunne: "Byron, things are different now. The bruiserweight is back. Tyler Bate is on SmackDown and British Strong Style are back together. So Judgment Day, get ready, lads. Get ready for some unbelievable tekkers."
Dunne and Bate have been working as a team together since Tyler Bate's main roster callup, which has also brought about Dunne's recent return to his Bruiserweight character.
