Pete Dunne is hopeful that all things Butch are behind him.
Pete Dunne and Sheamus have been locked in a heated rivalry in recent weeks. Dunne has blamed Sheamus for the "Butch" chapter of his career, and he has attacked Sheamus multiple times. Sheamus defeated Dunne on the August 19th episode of WWE Raw, but Dunne got revenge when he beat Sheamus on the September 16th episode.
Speaking on WWE Raw Talk, Pete Dunne commented on his win.
"I’m absolutely buzzing. I finally got that Irish muppet off my back, and I hit him with a Brogue Kick. What a way to do it. Sheamus, he’s in the past. You know the best bit about it? I don’t think I ever have to hear that name again," Dunne said.
Dunne then told Cathy Kelley not to ruin his good mood when she was about to say his old name.
