Peyton Royce And Billie Kay: “We’ve Always Wanted To Help Pioneer A Women’s Tag Team Division"

Peyton and Billie are hungry for success.

The duo consisting of Peyton Royce and Billie Kay known as The IIconics returned to their home-country of Australia earlier this month for WWE Super Show-Down. It was an emotional day for the two SmackDown stars because it had been quite some time since they saw their families with the hectic schedule they have being on the road with WWE

It is back to business for Peyton and Billie now as this Sunday at WWE's 'Evolution' PPV they both or one of them will be looking to win the 'Evolution' Battle Royal. While the duo were still in Australia, they chatted with 'The Sydney Morning Herald' and Peyton Royce commented on what it means to her to be a part of WWE's first-ever all-women's PPV with her best-friend who she has known since they were teenagers.

"It’s such a crazy thought that when we were 10 years old we were dreaming of being in a WWE ring and now that we’ve made it-it just so happens that it’s in the middle of this massive women’s evolution,” Royce says.

When the announcement of WWE 'Evolution' was looming, the talk of the wrestling media was the possibility of WWE introducing Women's Tag Team Titles. Stephanie McMahon stated during an interview coming out the 'Evolution' announcement that the company is not ready to add more hardware to their programming just yet. Billie Kay stated that she and Peyton are ready to lead the way if the Tag Team Titles return to WWE.

"We’ve always wanted to help pioneer the women’s tag team division,” Kay says. “So if [women’s tag team titles] were to happen it would just make [Evolution] that much more special. But it’s already special.”
