Pre-Trial Hearing Date Set For Jeff Hardy's DUI Case

As first reported by PW Insider, Jeff Hardy is slated to appear in court for a pre-trial hearing on Wednesday, December 21. Hardy's original hearing has been pushed back multiple times at the request of his attorneys.

Jeff Hardy was originally arrested in Volusia County, Florida on June 13 and charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license and violating restrictions placed on a driver's license. Hardy would go on to file a written plea of "not guilty" on June 28. On August 10, Hardy waived a right to a speedy trial.

Hardy, who joined the company earlier this year, has been off AEW TV since the arrest. Since then, Matt Hardy has continued to provide updates on the current status of his brother. The latest update from Matt came back on December 9:

“He’s basically been doing the same thing he’s been doing. He’s doing exactly what he needs to be doing to get where he needs to be in life. More or less, we’ve just got to get these legal issues behind him before we move forward, so that’s kind of where we’re at with Jeff, and we’re hoping that happens sooner rather than later,"

Fightful will continue to update fans on the status of Hardy as more is known.
