A similar situation occurred on the May 17th edition of IMPACT Wrestling when the main event match between Michael Elgin and X Division Rich Swann was set to continue after commercial break but the show did not return. IMPACT issued an apology after the mishap and made the match between Swann and Elgin available on the IMPACT Plus app and the company did the same for the June 7th episode.

IMPACT Wrestling is on the road to their Slammiversary XVII pay-per-view which will be held in Dallas in July. There have been three championship matches confirmed for that show thus far and to stay up to date with the match card, head over to Fightful's "events" page.
