PWG Announces First Show Since 2019 Will Take Place On 8/1/21

PWG is back!

For the first time since December 2019, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will host an event on Sunday, August 1, 2021. As of now, there was no show name or venue announcement, simply just a tweet stating that the promotion would be returning in August.

Through the years, PWG has played host to many names that are now seen as top Superstars in the world of wrestling. Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, The Young Bucks, Orange Cassidy, Candice LeRae and more all further their careers while working for PWG in Reseda, California.

Because of the global pandemic, PWG did not host a show for over a year. The last Event from PWG was “The Makings of a Varsity Athlete” on December 20, 2019. That card featured names such as Blake Christian, Jake Atlas, Orange Cassidy, Bandido, Jonathan Gresham, and The Rascalz.

All of those names are now associated with other promotions in North America including many that are signed to WWE.

Fightful will have more information on this show as it is made available. You can check out past results from PWG events in our results section.
