QT Marshall has always had Powerhouse Hobbs' back.
Fans were shocked when QT Marshall seemingly joined forces with Powerhouse Hobbs on the March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, helping him win the TNT Championship from Wardlow. Before his return, Marshall had last wrestled on AEW programming back in December 2022.
In a new tweet that was published in the early hours of Thursday, QT Marshall shared text messages between himself and Hobbs from June 2020, when the TNT Champion was brought into the company for the first time.

Marshall's partnership with Hobbs is seemingly a part of the new QTV brand, which was first teased back on February 22.
A fan also pointed out that before the partnership came about, Marshall owed Hobbs a favor after Hobbs helped Marshall out in his feud with Ricky Starks back in 2022.
Just a reminder from last Summer, QT Marshall does owe Powerhouse Hobbs a little favour from when they worked together to take out Ricky Starks. pic.twitter.com/jlK6XhiZ7s
