The forbidden door is open for many wrestling companies, but how about WNBA players?
Wrestling and basketball have had plenty of crossover throughout the years, most recently on the September 10 episode of WWE SmackDown when Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young showed up at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking on the WNBA Nation podcast, IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Rachael Ellering named a couple of WNBA stars she'd like to see crossover into wrestling.
"Everyone knows I'm flat out obsessed with Dee [Diana Taurasi] and the way she can talk her talk. She would fit in. I got to hear her call out like a ref, 'I'll see you in the lobby.' I would probably cry, I would be so stoked about it," she said. "I love size discrepancy matches, so I'd love to see A’ja Wilson or Liz [Cambage]."
Ellering is a big fan of Taurasi and even has a move called the DT3 after the Phoenix Mercury star.
