Rampage Once Propelled A Trainer Out Of A Cage

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will be returning to Bellator MMA this March when he will be taking on rival King Mo in a rematch at Bellator 175. According to longtime coach, Antonio McKee, Rampage once got involved in an interesting scene during a training session.

"Rampage is Rampage. I remember one time we were sparring, and [his partner] throws a spinning backfist that cuts Rampage's eye open. It took four coaches to control Rampage. Rampage literally threw this kid out of the Octagon, from the floor over the top. The kid took off and never came back to camp. Rampage calmed down and started howling like a wolf and all that weird stuff. That’s probably the craziest thing I can remember. It was me, [Cheick] Kongo, his coach and another coach holding him, and he threw us off like we were flies,” says McKee to Bloody Elbow.

Rampage hasn’t competed since returning to Bellator MMA at Bellator 167 this past June, where he defeated Satoshi Ishii by decision, Rampage also defeated King Mo in their first meeting at Bellator 120.

Bellator 175 takes place on Friday, March 31 from a location to be announced with Quinton Jackson and King Mo headlining the card.
