Randy Orton, Not Ricky, Teams With Kevin Owens To Defeat A-Town Down Under On WWE SmackDown

Randy Orton made his return to WWE SmackDown as Kevin Owens' mystery partner against A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller).

Owens originally brought out Ricky (Ricky Gibson of Midnight Heat), saying that his original partner had travel issues. Owens was then informed that his partner had arrived. Ricky was given a stunner for his troubles.

Orton made his way to the ring, officially joining Owens as his tag team partner.

Orton & Owens picked up the victory with Owens hitting a Stunner on Theory and Orton hitting an RKO on Waller.

Orton had been appearing on WWE Raw in the lead up to Bash In Berlin, where he unsuccessfully challenged Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
