Randy Orton got himself into trouble with some fans this past weekend with his re-tweeting of Rip Rogers's co-opted rant about Indy Wrestling.
In case you missed it, former NWA/WCW wrestler and current OVW trainer Rip Rogers tweeted this:
There was not only a debate among fans about the merits of the rant, but also among professional wrestlers as well. Will Ospreay and TJP were on the side of the Indy wrestling style, and other, more old school guys backed up Rogers.
Orton was one of those old school guys, re-tweeting Rogers' tweet, then doubling down again and again.
Somewhere along the line, he ran afoul of IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champ Low-Ki.
And then he picked a fight with one of the few old-school types who dared to come to the defense of "diving": former WWE Tag Team Champion and current ROH 6-Man Tag Champion Bully Ray.
Bully Ray then responded:
This doesn't seem to be ending any time soon, so we'll have more updates as they come.
