Randy Orton is still without a match at WrestleMania 41.
One week after Kevin Owens announced he would be out for the foreseeable future with a neck injury, Randy Orton opened WWE SmackDown to discuss his WrestleMania future.
Orton explained that he paid a fine for his RKO to Aldis in 2023, and paid double in case something came up like last Friday when he RKO'd Aldis. Orton believed that they were even.
Orton said he needed a match as WrestleMania and he didn't care who it was, even saying that Aldis could lose his suit and put his gear on.
Aldis said it wasn't about money, it was about needing Orton's respect. Orton said that he had respect for Aldis a long time ago but if he didn't get a match at WrestleMania 41, he might not apologize to Mickie James, Aldis' wife, for what he does.
Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga interrupted Orton, leading to a brawl between the two sides. LA Knight made the save for Orton, setting up the main event.
