AEW and Andrade have reported spoken.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports "there have been talks" between Andrade and AEW, though Meltzer does not that he isn't sure where things stand between the two sides.
Andrade is currently a free agent after he was released by WWE on March 21. He didn't have a 90-day non-compete clause attached to his release.
Following his release, Andrade, via social media, did tease an appearance on the April 7 episode AEW Dynamite in Jacksonville, but the show came and went without Andrade showing up.

Andrade has already booked a few matches following his release. He is scheduled to team with RUSH, Bestia Del Ring, and a surprise partner against Matt Taven, PJ Black, and two surprise partners at the debut of Federacion Wrestling on June 19. He will also face Alberto Del Rio on July 31.
At AAA Rey de Reyes, Andrade challenged AEW World Champion, IMPACT World Champion, and AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega to a match at AAA Triplemania. The bout has not been made official.
