Asuka has been sidelined February 22 episode of WWE Raw where she was kicked in the head by Shayna Baszler. The kick knocked Asuka's tooth out and was having trouble getting her bearings in the post-match angle with Charlotte Flair.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Asuka is reportedly out of action with a concussion.
WWE has highlighted the kick on recent episodes of Raw, with Charlotte noting that Asuka is currently unable to compete following the incident. WWE has not confirmed the extent of her injury.

It is unknown when Asuka will return to the ring. She is the reigning Raw Women's Champion and not currently scheduled for a match at WWE WrestleMania 37. Charlotte has stated she wants to face Asuka at WrestleMania, leading to a storyline where multiple women on the roster want to face Asuka at WrestleMania 37.
