Brock Lesnar will reportedly be in WWE 2K24, but he won't be playable.
On Thursday, February 22, Mike Straw of Insider Gaming published a new report that updated fans on the status of Brock Lesnar in WWE 2K24. According to Straw, Lesnar's character and game files will still be in the game, but he will not be playable.
Straw noted that 2K was unable to fully remove Lesnar due to the fact that the game was in late stages of development. Straw also stated that Lesnar has minor inclusions within different modes in the game.
Lesnar was not included in the full roster list for the game that was released on Wednesday, February 21.
Controversy has surrounded Lesnar for weeks at this point, as many suspect that he is the "former UFC Heavyweight Champion" that was named in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. The lawsuit alleged that McMahon used Grant in a sexual manner to ensure that the "world famous athlete" would sign a new contract with the company. As a result of the controversy, Lesnar's creative plans in WWE were canceled.
Before the lawsuit emerged, many fans were hoping to see Lesnar take on Gunther at WrestleMania. Gunther recently addressed the controversy and said that he doesn't know if Lesnar will ever return to the company. Fans can learn more here.
