Ric Flair finds himself in hot water.
PWInsider reports that CarShield is pausing its ad campaign with Ric Flair following Thursday's episode of Dark Side of the Ring, which focused on the Plane Ride from Hell.
Flair was a central figure in the episode as, according to those on the plane, he exposed himself and was accused of sexual assault by flight attendant Heidi Doyle.
A spokesperson for Intermedia, the advertising agency for CarShield, told PWInsider.com:
"We take these matters very seriously. As of right now, we are pausing the campaign and we will do our due diligence."
Flair has yet to comment on the episode but told Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions before the episode aired that he would like to come back on her podcast after the episode aired, saying he knows the whole story.
Tommy Dreamer came under criticism for his words during the episode, dismissing Flair's actions as "The Nature Boy being The Nature Boy." IMPACT Wrestling suspended Dreamer for his comments. You can learn more about Dreamer's suspension by clicking here.
