CM Punk is expanding his acting portfolio.
Joe Otterson of Variety is reporting that CM Punk is joining the cast of the new Syfy series "Revival." The series is based on an Image Comics series. Punk, real name Phil Brooks, will join previously announced cast members Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen. Steven Ogg will also feature in a recurring role. The exact character Punk will play is currently unknown to the public.
The description of the series can be seen below:
“On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the ‘revived’ appear and act just like they once were. When local officer and single mother Dana Cypress (Scrofano) is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.”
CM Punk is currently represented by Paradigm's Sports Group. Learn more about that at this link.
CM Punk hasn't wrestled since defeating Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood 2024. He will return for an upcoming live event in Madison Square Garden. Learn more here.
