Daniel Bryan has been cleared by WWE medical staff but he will receive extra attention.
According to a report by Wrestling Observer, Daniel Bryan agreed to impact testing and neuropsychological evaluations after his matches as a condition of WWE medical staff clearing him. There was no mention in the report if the brawl with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on Smackdown would require Bryan to check-in with WWE doctors.
On Tuesday, WWE announced Bryan had been cleared by their staff finally after Bryan had petitioned the company for years after he was cleared by his personal doctor. He was advertised to appear on Smackdown as General Manager to address Shane McMahon being attacked by Zayn and Owens the previous week, he announced his return in the first segment of the show, and at the end of Smackdown he fired Zayn and Owens.
He was attacked by Owens and Zayn, fought in his suit jacket and jeans, performed dropkicks in the corner, was super kicked by Kevin Owens, and received a powerbomb on the ring apron. He has not had a match since April of 2015.
