DJZ is headed to WWE.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that former IMPACT Wrestling X Division Champion DJZ has signed with WWE. The offer was reportedly made to DJZ on the last week of February.
DJZ, 32, spent seven years in TNA/IMPACT before the two sides agreed to part ways as the calendar turned from 2018 to 2019. DJZ is a former two-time X Division champion and one-time IMPACT Tag Team Champion with Andrew Everett. He had not been used by the company since their television tapings in June 2018.
Upon becoming a free agent, DJZ has spent 2019 wrestling for PROGRESS, MLW, EVOLVE, and other Independent companies. He recently qualified for the PROGRESS Super Strong 16 tournament, defeating Angelico. He wrestled for ICW over the weekend in what as billed as his "final time in an ICW ring."

There is no word on when DJZ will report to the WWE Performance Center.
WWE recently signed Stokely Hathaway, Robbie E, and Cal Bloom to deals with all three having reported to the Performance Center last week.
