Eli Drake's Impact Wrestling career is up in the air.

According to Wrestling Observer, the former Impact Wrestling World Champion Eli Drake has not re-signed with Impact Wrestling and his contract is "imminently" ending. He has been with Impact Wrestling in some capacity since 2015. Before then, Drake was in the developmental program at WWE.

The last few sets of tapings for Impact Wrestling, Drake has been featured prominently including a Tag Team Championship reign with Scott Steiner. He also recently challenged Pentagon Jr for the World Championship. Both of those opportunities were the result of Drake having two of the Feast or Fired brief cases.

This week, he will wrestle Scott Steiner on the Impact Wrestling event Under Pressure. The match has already been filmed and Fightful has the spoilers for that set of tapings.

Update: According to Wrestling Observer, Eli Drake has not been scheduled for Slammiversary because of his non-commitment.
