Eva Marie is headed back to WWE.
Cultaholic first reported the news that Eva Marie will be returning to WWE. It is unknown when she will re-appear on television.
PWInsider has since confirmed the report, saying Eva is in Orlando for this week's television tapings and underwent medical testing on Sunday to enter the ThunderDome. PWInsider adds that WWE and Eva agreed to a deal in September, though it is not clear if she will resume her in-ring career or be used as a personality. It's also not clear which brand she will be part of.
Eva signed with WWE in 2013 and was immediately cast on the first season Total Divas. She remained on the reality show for the first six seasons. Her last major storyline revolved around her not wrestling due to a series of unfortunate on-screen events. She was suspended 30 days for violating WWE's wellness policy in Agust 2016 and then parted ways with WWE in August 2017.
Her last match took place in July 2016 against Becky Lynch.
She has pursued other ventures since leaving WWE and appeared on Big Brother: Celebrity Edition season two.
Eva has consistently hinted at a WWE return over the years.
