Some untimely news coming out of the Hardy camp.
Former two-time World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy was recently given the green light by his surgeon to return to in-ring action. Hardy had been out since September rehabbing a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum. Things appeared to be on the up and up for Jeff Hardy as all he needed was clearance from the WWE to return to the squared circle.
But according to a report by way of PWInsider, the "Charismatic Enigma" has gotten himself into a bit of trouble as the site has confirmed that Jeff Hardy was arrested Saturday evening for driving under the influence in Cameron County, North Carolina. The former WWE Champion was arrested at 10:20 PM on Saturday night according to the Cabarrus County police department. Hardy was released from holding an hour later after being arrested.
There are no current details at the moment regarding what led to his arrest, but Jeff's license has been suspended for 30 days which prevents him from legally driving until the 30 days are up. The site also noted that Hardy will be appearing in court on April 16th for his arrest.
As more details regarding the arrest come to the forefront, we will continue to update you here on Fightful.
