Report: Kurt Angle Training For In Ring Return

Kurt Angle could be returning to the ring at some point. 

PWInsider's Mike Johnson stated on Elite Audio that Angle has been training and preparing for an in ring return.

Angle has not wrestled since the Greatest Royal Rumble, where he participated as one of the 50 competitors in the largest Royal Rumble ever. He teamed with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 34, defeating Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag bout.

He made his in-ring return for WWE last year at Tables, Ladder, & Chairs; teaming with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a TLC Match against The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, and Kane. Angle, as an honorary Shield member, filled in for Roman Reigns. He was also part of Team Raw at Survivor Series '17. 

The Raw General Manager was sent home for a forced vacation by Commissioner Stephanie McMahon this past Monday on Raw. Constable Baron Corbin was named acting GM in his place.
