Report: Matt Sydal's Contract With IMPACT Wrestling Ended January 1st, Has Offers From AEW And WWE

Matt Sydal is a free man.

During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared that former IMPACT X Division Champion Matt Sydal is a free agent. Sydal's contract with IMPACT expired on January 1st of this year. Sydal has undergone a minor knee surgery and should be cleared to return to the ring in either March or April according to the tweet he sent out a few weeks ago.

Meltzer added that Sydal is on the radar of All Elite Wrestling and WWE along with IMPACT wanting to bring him back into the fray. Sydal was last featured on IMPACT Wrestling where he was a tandem with "All Ego" Ethan Page. Sydal's last match was on December 16th for the 'Championship Wrestling Association' promotion and as more information about Matt Sydal's next potential landing spot comes to the forefront, we will update you here on Fightful.
