Report: Matt Sydal Suffers Injury Scare At EVOLVE, Experiences Numbness In Arm

Evan Bourne's rebirth in EVOLVE came with an injury scare for the former WWE Superstar.

According to a report from PWInsider, during last night's match at EVOLVE with Leon Ruff, Bourne aka Matt Sydal began experiencing numbness in his arm, sparking fear of a neck injury. Reportedly, Sydal walked out of the ring and was treated backstage by medical staff present at the event. He is reportedly okay following the checkup.

However, Sydal is reportedly still feeling numbness in his arm and as a result, may not wrestle at today's EVOLVE event.

When it was first announced that Sydal would be returning as Evan Bourne in EVOLVE, Sydal said he felt the time was right for a resurrection of his WWE persona.

"There has never been a more ideal moment for Evan Bourne to return," Bourne said. "I'm thankful for this rebirth. I'm thrilled for this opportunity, and I will open everyone's eyes at EVOLVE. On November 9th and 10th, come see what I'm saying."

If he is cleared to compete, Sydal will take on EVOLVE Tag Team Champion AR Fox in Brooklyn, New York today at EVOLVE 140.
