Marty has left the temple.

SoCalUnsensored followed up on the report by adding that Elias was granted his release from L.U. on September 19th and Elias told the site that the reason he requested his release was to do what was best for everyone involved. There was an issue between Elias and a fellow employee that began outside of the workplace and those issues soon made their way into the workplace. Marty Elias has been working as an official for nearly 20 years and one of his most memorable moments that he consistently recalls whenever he is asked about it is being the referee for The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels' match at WrestleMania 25.

Marty Elias has been working with Lucha Underground since 2014 and for the reasons noted above, he ended his four year run with the promotion.

On the latest episode of Lucha Underground, Marty "The Moth" Martinez walked a straight line to championship gold as he became Gift Of The Gods Champion and cashed that title in to get a shot at Pentagon Jr.'s Lucha Underground Championship and when it was all said and done, "The Moth" was Lucha Underground's new top dog.
