Don't expect to see Rob Gronkowski in a WWE ring anytime soon.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Gronkowski to WWE is "unlikely" if the Patriots tight end decides to retire in the offseason. Gronkowski is "more likely to try and be a movie star" according to Rapoport.
There were retirement rumors surrounding Gronk last offseason but he decided to return for his ninth NFL season. Gronkowski is just 29 years old but has battled multiple injuries during his NFL career. He has suffered a fractured forearm, back vertebral fracture, MCL and ACL tear, and multiple reported concussions during his nine NFL seasons.
From @NFLGameDay: As #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski mulls retirement this offseason, it doesn't sound like the WWE is in his future. Perhaps movies, though. ... This is very important news. pic.twitter.com/S4obsWijRv

Gronkowski made headlines at WrestleMania 33 when he jumped the guardrail and helped his friend Mojo Rawley win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. You can view highlights of Gronkowski getting physical in a WWE ring in the video above.
Retirement might be the last thing on Gronkowski's mind right now as the Patriots prepare to play in their third straight Super Bowl.
