Report: Roman Reigns Has The Mumps; He, Wyatt and Dallas To Be Re-evaluated Next Week

If the latest report is correct, it seems that Roman Reigns has been out of action due to the mumps.

Dave Meltzer reported on last night's Wrestling Observer Radio that Roman Reigns had been suffering from the mumps. WrestlingINC was the first to report the news, saying that the mumps may be the viral outbreak in question, with the Raw roster being tested for the disease recently.

When it comes to the mumps, symptoms usually appear about 16-18 days after infection. Once symptoms start showing up, it usually takes about a week to recover. Meltzer said that Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas would all be re-evaluated next Monday to see what their status is.

Bo Dallas was the first person sent home sick around two weeks ago. Following No Mercy, Bray Wyatt had also not been on TV, instead doing backstage vignettes that were taped in advance. Until Friday, Wyatt had been heavily promoted in a match against The Demon Finn Blaor for the pay-per-view.

Roman Reigns was removed from last night's WWE TLC pay-per-view on Friday due to the illness. Kurt Angle replaced him in the main event, defeating The Bar, The Miz, Braun Strowman and Kane in a 5 on 3 handicap match with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as his partners.
