The battle begins.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Roman Reigns has started treatment for his leukemia. Any discussions regarding his potential return are a long way off. However, Reigns is scheduled to appear at ACE Comic Con in Phoenix from January 11 to 13.
On Oct. 22, Reigns opened up WWE Raw with the heartbreaking announcement that he would have to relinquish the Universal Title and take time off in order to battle leukemia, which had been in remission for 11 years. The entire wrestling community reached out to Reigns to lend their support as he goes through this tough time.
A day later, Reigns took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support following his announcement.
