Tony Khan: Dual AEW Dynamite/Collision Tapings Will Not Be A Regular Occurrence

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Rousey requested Kendrick be the producer for the match as Kendrick was Rousey's original trainer.

Kendrick has not been re-hired by WWE.

Kendrick previously worked as a producer in WWE from 2020 to 2022 before he was granted his release. He was set to debut for AEW on February 2, 2022, but was pulled after old clips and comments surfaced of Kendrick giving conspiracy theories related to the Holocaust. Kendrick's remarks included him saying the Sandy Hook shooting was faked, that the Holocaust was overblown to justify the creation of Israel, and that World War 2 concentration camps were for delousing. You can read Kendrick's apology and reasoning for his comments by clicking here.

Rousey has promoted, and then deleted, Sandy Hook conspiracy videos in the past, calling them "extremely interesting" and saying, "asking questions and doing research is more patriotic than blindly accepting what you're told."

Rousey was victorious at WWE Survivor Series, defeating Shotzi in singles competition.
