Report: Sammy Guevara And Kylie Rae Expected To Sign With AEW

AEW adding to their talent roster.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Sammy Guevara and Kylie Rae are expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling. Guevara had been wrestling for MLW in the United States but reportedly canceled dates and had "become difficult to book."

Guevara, 25, is the current AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. He has wrestled for DDT, Lucha Underground, PWG and more. He recently competed in PWG's Battle of Los Angeles and at NWA 70. Rae, 26, has wrestled for RISE, AAW, Stardom and other independent promotions.

AEW has not officially announced the signing of either competitor. They are set to hold a ticket announcement party next Thursday, Feb. 7 and Brandi Rhodes teased bringing a couple of new female talents with her.

Earlier today it was reported that Chuckie T and Beretta, known as the Best Friends, would be finishing up with NJPW this weekend. The duo is reportedly expected to sign with AEW as well. 

Cody Rhodes has emphasized that AEW would be signing "fresh" talent as opposed to legends. Their most recent signing was Jungle Boy, the 21-year-old son of actor Luke Perry.
