Report: Sasha Banks Suffered Tailbone Injury At WWE Hell In A Cell

An update on Sasha Banks.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that Sasha Banks suffered a back injury against Becky Lynch in her Hell in a Cell match on Sunday. The severity of the injury is unknown. Banks was kept off WWE Raw on Monday and there is no timetable for when she will return. John Pollock of POST Wrestling first reported on Banks' injury on Monday afternoon prior to Raw.

Johnson has since updated his report to note that Banks suffered a tailbone injury.

Banks has had tough luck with injuries this year as she suffered a shoulder injury against Ronda Rousey at the 2019 Royal Rumble. Banks was limited from a physical standpoint due to the injury before being cleared for action prior to WWE Elimination Chamber.

Banks wasn't the only superstar to wind up on the injury report following WWE Hell in a Cell as Bray Wyatt was also reportedly not medically cleared following his Hell in a Cell bout against Seth Rollins. However, Wyatt did make an appearance after Raw went off the air, taking out Cesaro in a dark match segment.
