According to new reports, Shane McMahon was among those that produced the men's WWE Royal Rumble Match in 2021.
The 2021 Royal Rumble is in the books and history was made as Bianca Belair and WWE Hall of Famer Edge won their respective Royal Rumble matches, with both legitimately outlasting 29 other individuals to punch their tickets to WrestleMania
Fightful previously reported that Vince McMahon was not present at the event and that Adam Pearce was heavily involved with putting the women's Royal Rumble match together but according to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the men's Royal Rumble Match was put together by a team that included Shane McMahon, Jason Jordan, Jamie Noble, and more.
In addition to Adam Pearce, the women's Royal Rumble Match was put together by Pat buck and TJ Wilson, aka Tyson Kidd, among others.
Tyson Kidd was also reportedly the producer for the Sasha Banks vs. Carmella SmackDown Women's Championship match at the event.
In men's championship news, former TNA superstar, Abyss, was the producer for the WWE Championship match between Goldberg and Drew McIntyre. Meanwhile, veteran producer Michael Hayes was instrumental in putting together the Last Man Standing Universal Championship bout between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns.
Shane McMahon was also instrumental in putting together last year's Royal Rumble match, as was shown in the documentary about Edge on the WWE Network. Jason Jordan, a former Tag Team Champion, might be on his way back to the ring according to his former partner Chad Gable. Learn more at this link.
